Grind Types Explained

 

Grind Types:

ESPRESSO

- usually the smallest grind created

- used best for espresso coffee

FINE

- one step above the "standard" grind

- used best for pour-over, vacuum pots, and siphon brews

STANDARD 

- size of store bought coffee 

-used best for pour-over and drip coffees

MEDIUM COARSE 

- in between coarse and the standard grind

- used best for pour-over coffees

COARSE 

- the largest grind size created

- used best for french press and cold brew coffee
